Job description
JOB SUMMARY

Standard Chartered is investing significantly in digital transformation to improve our productivity, client and employee experience and creating capacity to reinvest in incremental growth activities. The Pan‑Bank ISO20022 Programme which addresses the new global standard for High Value (HVPS) and Cross Border Payments (CBPR+) messaging. A new common language is being implemented for low value domestic schemes globally issued by the International Standards Organisation “ISO”. The programme is focussed on upgrading existing message gateways, downstream systems and define the channel and preferred messaging format received through SWIFT transaction Management Platform in line with the “Society for Worldwide International Financial Telecommunications (SWIFT) programme to adopt the ISO 20022 standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
  • Leverage a change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the Programme
  • Ensure the design, development, delivery and management of key Programme communications.
  • Coordination of business change plans into a consolidated Pan‑Bank ISO Programme communication plan
  • Ensure the change management activities are incorporated into the overall delivery plan
  • Create the central knowledge repository for Programme communication artefacts for Group, Risk, Regulator and senior stakeholder communications
  • Ensure consistent, timely and accurate stakeholder communication and information flows.
  • Quality assurance of change deliverables produced by the workstreams in order to ensure consistency (e.g. change impact assessment, business readiness assessments, training plans, etc.) across the programme.
  • Work with Business, product and operational teams to ensure complete and accurate training needs analysis
  • Coordinate and facilitate the retrospectives and lessons learnt for each go‑live, ensuring feedback to the Programme and wider CIB change community
  • Define and measure the Programme success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Manage the Programme change control process, ensuring impacts are documented and communicated with all key stakeholders

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • 10 plus years experience as a Business Analyst in a Bank.
  • Change Management Certifications, Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR etc.
  • Project management, SAFe, Agile, Waterfall, PMP, PRINCE2 etc.
  • Tools. Jira, ADO, Confluence, ServiceNow.
  • Ability to collaborate and work dynamically across a broad range of stakeholders, functions, and borders.
  • Personal authority, with proven ability to establish relationships and provide direction at senior management levels.
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to lead a cross‑border, multi‑functional team.
  • Ability to manage geographically dispersed and highly varied client and stakeholder base.
  • Good presentation, time management, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Can work independently to strict timeframes.
  • Focused, organised and results‑oriented.
  • Experience of working with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence senior staff and offshore shared services teams and drive change agenda.
  • Understanding of SWIFT ISO 20022 message processing and exposure to change delivery in clearing and settlement systems adoption of new regulation and industry standards a plus.
