Our client, with a strong track record in buyout and control investments are seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate to join our investment team. The role offers exposure across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, analysis, execution, and portfolio monitoring. The Investment Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals and play a key role in evaluating and executing investment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Analysis & Execution
- Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on prospective investments
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including sensitivity and scenario analysis
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and materials for investment committees
- Support transaction execution, including coordination with internal teams and external advisors
- Assist with deal documentation and closing processes
Portfolio Monitoring
- Monitor portfolio performance and analyse financial and operational results
- Support portfolio reviews, valuation updates, and exit analysis
- Assist with post-investment initiatives and value creation projects
Market & Industry Research
- Conduct industry, company, and market research to support investment theses
- Track market trends, comparable transactions, and valuation benchmarks
- Support sourcing initiatives through thematic research and opportunity screening
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, private credit, venture capital, or strategy consulting
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of financial statements and corporate finance concepts
