The team has a strong regional footprint with offices in Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, and Sydney. We invest in Asian companies to grow with them and to help them to become better investors.

Investment
  • Play a full and active role in the investment process by writing notes, attending company and team meetings and discussing and presenting investment ideas.
Research
  • Undertake company research through the writing of stock notes, results reports and ad hoc sector, country and thematic reviews.
Risk Management
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of compliance and dealing procedures and comply with all regulatory, legal, corporate and client mandates.
Marketing & Business Development
  • Assist with marketing and business development opportunities and develop client and media-facing skills.
Training & Development
  • Maintain (through the appropriate level of Continual Professional Development - CPD) suitable knowledge of ASI investment process, products and allocated market/sector responsibilities, as well as systems and processes to be able to fulfil tasks to the highest level.
Job Requirements
  • A good Bachelor’s degree or Post‑graduate degree majoring in Business, Economics or Finance.
  • CFA Level 1 qualified (or working towards).
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience in the sell or buy side.
  • Strong academic performance combined with extracurricular interests and achievements.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with ability to manage own workload.
  • Good influencing skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Ability to converse fluently in a second Asian language (e.g. Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Bahasa Indonesian, Bahasa Melayu) being a plus.
