Job description

• Lead infrastructure projects across banking environments, including datacentre upgrades, network refreshes, and cloud transitions.
• Apply ITIL best practices to manage service delivery, incident response, and change control throughout project lifecycles.
• Oversee planning and execution of datacentre migrations, hardware refreshes, and disaster recovery exercises.
• Manage deployment and integration of Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring alignment with security and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including scope, timelines, risk registers, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure infrastructure projects comply with banking regulations, cybersecurity policies, and audit requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Business units.
• Monitor project KPIs and provide regular updates to senior management and governance committees.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience managing infrastructure projects in regulated banking or financial services environments.
• Strong knowledge of datacentre operations, including virtualization, storage, backup, and network architecture.
• Certification in ITIL Foundation or higher, with practical application in service management and project delivery.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, contracts, and SLAs within complex infrastructure programs.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, ServiceNow) and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
• Experience in risk management, issue resolution, and escalation handling within infrastructure programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
