A leading technology services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Content Manager OnDemand administrator to manage system hardware and software for efficient operations. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years in Enterprise Content Management, strong scripting skills, and knowledge of ELK stacks. This role focuses on automation, system monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Job description

Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) administrator responsibility for and take care of the system hardware, application & system software, reports and users.

Hardware includes library & object server workstations, backup devices, archive storage devices, client workstations, terminals, printers and the networking equipment.

Software includes the base operating system, prerequisite software, client and server programs, configuration files and shell scripts.

Installing & maintaining Content Manager OnDemand programs and other software required for CMOD.

Monitoring the space used by the database, cache storage, archive storage and the space available on the system.

Automate using scripts/jobs to maintain the database, cache storage and the archive storage day-to-day activities and tasks.

Working with users to determine report indexing and retrieval requirements.

Defining storage sets and storage nodes.

Defining Content Manager OnDemand system printers or bundle the reports to transit to printing vendor for printing and delivery as a mail.

Defining reports to the system by creating and managing application group, application folder with all the required indexes for user.

Defining Content Manager OnDemand groups and users.

Automate the loading process for reports on the system using Shell/Python scripts.

Managing the backup and recovery process for the database and other areas that contain data critical to operation of the system. Includes File Systems, Cache Storage and Archive storage.

Monitoring server activity and tuning system parameters.

Solving server, network and application problems for CMOD upstream and downstream interfaces.

Support and manage the end-user Service Request (SR) and any CMOD incidents.

Manage and support ELK stacks for Enterprise Monitoring and dashboard includes Elasticsearch, Logstash, Grafana, Kibana, File Beat and NX logs.

Onboarding/offboarding of application systems to be monitored via ELK stacks.

Troubleshooting of data streaming between ELK stacks server and client.

Automation of agent self-heal and application services enablement in ELK stacks.

Support and manage any ELK stacks operations service request or incidents.

Prepares and installs solution by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming.

Improves operations by conducting system analysis recommending changes in processes and procedures.

Accomplishes team objectives by completing related results as need on issues collaboratively.

To understand and follows the coding guidelines and code review process as part of CI/CD process.

Assist in troubleshooting when there are errors in application.

Automate Content Management Operations and manual tasks, as much as possible to avoid human intervention and human error as part of Toil Removal process.

Perform maker and checker role in CI/CD.

Improve the Content Management documents, SOP and process to transform.

Goals and Objectives

Achieve the above Content Management deliverables.

Assist in projects and Content Management Platform improvement if needed.

Requirements

5-8 years of experience in Enterprise Content Management (IBM CMOD) System Administrator/Operator.

Excellent working knowledge on Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD) products. Family includes CMOD, DB2, ODF, PDF Indexer, Full text search and Enhanced Retention Management.

Excellent working knowledge on Content Management indexing, storing and retrieval functionality.

Excellent working knowledge on scripting language such as Shell, Python, Perl and PowerShell.

Excellent working knowledge on ELK stacks for Enterprise Monitoring and Dashboard including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Grafana, Kibana, File beat and NX Logs.

Experience with working in DevOps and Agile Frameworks.

Good understanding of architectural principles, multi-threaded applications processing.

Highly pragmatic and delivery focused, "can do" attitude.

Takes ownership for delivery and is a self starter.

Have a good working knowledge on databases CRUD, through object relational mappers. Good command of the SQL language. Sequalize framework knowledge is a plus

Good working experience in development of RESTful APIs, preferably using NodeJS.

Good working knowledge on protocols, including SSL, TLS, HTTPS and LDAPS.

Good working knowledge on software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipeline. Experience on GIT, SVN and Jenkins is a plus.

Experience on defect management using tools such as JIRA.

Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and diagnostic and analytical skills.

Able to manage initiatives on his/her own with less supervision.

Enterprise Content Management products: Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD), Content Manager OnDemand Distribution Family (ODF), Enhanced Retention Management (ERM), Content Manager OnDemand Web Enablement Kit (ODWEK), Indexing methods using CMOD family of products.

Database: Oracle or DB2 or MariaDB or MYSQL.

API: RESTful
