Job summary

A semiconductor fabrication company is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate Engineer to support equipment performance and run Production operations. The role includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and participating in process improvement projects. Candidates should possess a Diploma in a relevant field, with 2 - 5 years of experience in the electrical/electronics industry or fresh diploma holders. This position requires the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Qualifications

  • Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics / Chemical Process Technology.
  • At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position.
  • Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance.
  • Perform 12-hour shift duties to support Production.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration.
  • Assist Engineers in the installation of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
  • Assist in process improvement projects.
  • Support new Associate Engineers during their training.
  • Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the production area.

We’re searching for an Associate/ Senior Associate Engineer to be part of our Diffusion (Implant) Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:
  • To assist the Engineers to improve and sustain equipment performance and Cpk indices to meet operations goals
  • Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production in the Module and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration on a timely basis
  • Assist Engineers in the installation and hook-up of new equipment
  • Trouble-shoot equipment-related issues and minimize equipment downtime
  • Assist in implementing process improvement projects
  • Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
  • Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality of the Module, and constantly monitor and feedback to Engineers to improve performance of equipment to meet Module objectives
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module

  • At least 2 - 5 years working experience in electrical / electronics industry for Associate Engineer Position
  • Fresh diploma holders will also be considered
