Job Responsibilities

• Route Planning & Optimization: Continuously review and optimize bus routes using GPS data and performance metrics to reduce travel time, improve cost efficiency, and adjust proactively for traffic, road closures, or student enrollment changes.
• Fleet Management: Oversee vehicle allocation, maintenance, and inspections to ensure all buses are safe, operational, and ready for daily and ad-hoc routes.
• Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, verify driver licenses and training, conduct safety audits and drills, and promptly address incidents or complaints.
• Driver & Crew Management: Supervise bus drivers and monitors, enforce SOPs and road safety regulations, and promote accountability through coaching and performance feedback.
• Student Safety & Behavior: Ensure clear communication of bus safety rules, oversee behavior management using reporting systems, and support monitors in maintaining discipline.
• Technology & Data Management: Utilize transportation management systems to track real-time bus movement, monitor punctuality and performance, and leverage data for route optimization and incident prevention.
• Operations, Ad-Hoc Requests & Documentation: Manage daily arrivals/dismissals, scheduling, and dispatch, handle ad-hoc and field trip bookings, coordinate emergency responses, address changes, and maintain accurate operational and audit-ready records.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrates strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Possession of a Class 3 driving license is an advantage.
• Ideally has a minimum of 2 years’ work experience.
