Job summary

A leading construction firm located in Singapore is seeking an experienced Surveyor to manage site surveys, prepare documentation, and liaise with project stakeholders. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering and at least 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a main-con company dealing with various channel and coast projects. The position requires independent work and strong expertise in survey methods and instruments. Willingness to work at site office is essential.

Job Description:
  • Set out, level, and survey the site, ensuring accuracy of measurements and alignment with project plans.
  • Prepare and maintain survey records, drawings, and reports for submission and project documentation.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to provide survey data and technical support.
  • Monitor and check work performed by subcontractors to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain surveying instruments such as Total Station, GPS, and AutoCAD software for data processing.
  • Provide accurate and timely data for project planning, progress monitoring, and reporting.
  • Identify potential discrepancies in site conditions versus design and promptly communicate findings to the project team.
  • Assist in preparing as-built drawings and reports upon project completion.
  • Support Project Manager and Technical Manager with survey-related technical matters as required.
Job Requirement:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Geological Engineering.
  • At least 6 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Working experience in main-con company is a must.
  • Candidate must specialized in various channel and coast project experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and survey methods.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Willing to work at site office.
  • Monday – Saturday, work location: East.
