About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Human Resource Assistant to join the Tassets Training Group team in our Queenstown office. This full-time role will provide crucial support to our HR and recruitment functions, ensuring we attract and retain the best talent to deliver our training programmes across the Central Region.

What you'll be doing
  1. Providing administrative support to the HR and recruitment teams, including scheduling interviews, managing candidate correspondence, and maintaining personnel files
  2. Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening applications, and coordinating interviews
  3. Supporting the onboarding and induction of new employees
  4. Maintaining employee records and updating HR systems
  5. Providing general HR support and advice to managers and employees
  6. Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
What we're looking for
  1. Previous experience in a similar HR assistant or administrative support role
  2. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  4. Proficient in using HR information systems and MS Office suite
  5. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  6. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  7. Relevant qualifications in human resources or a related field would be an advantage
