Roles & Responsibilities

Safety Coordination

  • Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety plans and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and walkdowns to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
  • Support incident investigations and root cause analysis; maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Promote a strong safety culture through training, awareness campaigns, and toolbox talks.
  • Liaise with contractors and project teams to ensure alignment with safety standards.

Quality Assurance

  • Monitor and evaluate quality control processes to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  • Support internal and external audits; coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality inspections, non-conformances, and improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve quality issues.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
  • Prepare and submit timely reports on safety performance, quality metrics, and audit findings.
  • Maintain records of permits, certifications, and training.

QC

  • Documentation & Records Management
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation including RFIs, inspection reports, test packs, and NCRs.
  • Ensure proper filing and traceability of quality records for project handover.
  • Track and archive all QA/QC documents in accordance with company and project standards.

Contractor Coordination

  • Respond promptly to contractor submissions, including ITPs, method statements, and procedures.
  • Monitor and follow up on pending approvals and document reviews.
  • Assist in coordinating inspection schedules and document control between site and office teams.

Quality System Support

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of QA/QC documentation to site teams.
  • Support internal and external audits by organizing required documentation.
  • Help monitor the implementation of QA/QC procedures and report deviations.

Administrative Duties

  • Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and logs related to QA/QC activities.
  • Maintain registers for RFIs, NCRs, ITPs, and other quality-related documents.
  • Support QA/QC engineers and inspectors with administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • Certifications related to Health & Safety, and quality.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety or quality coordination role, preferably in industrial or construction settings.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and safety management software.
Preferred Skills
  • Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or equivalent.
  • Experience with risk assessment and incident investigation methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
