Job summary

A major player in the LNG sector is seeking a senior health, safety, and environmental (HSE) manager in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in LNG and oil/gas projects, with a strong foundation in HSE regulations and risk management. Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects.
• At least 5 years in a similar management position.
• Familiarity with international health, safety, and environmental standards.

Job description

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environment from an accredited university with minimum 10 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects
• Must have minimum 5 years of similar management position in major LNG & oil/gas projects (experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory)
• Must be fully familiar with international health, safety and environmental codes, standards, recommended practices and regulations and their application to similar projects.
• Must have a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating HSE risks.
• Must be experience in risk assessment and review incident investigations to recommend effective corrective and preventive action
• Knowledge of Singapore safety regulations will be essential to further verify that these are fully incorporated into the plant design.
• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively communicate safety information, lead teams, and engage with stakeholders and ensure project compliance and safety
• Singaporeans and PR are desirable
• For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.

Salary: $10,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
