Job summary

A leading energy firm in Singapore is seeking a Human Resources professional to enhance its compensation and benefits framework. Key responsibilities include developing policies, managing payroll and related documentation, and maintaining compliance with labor laws. Job description
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing, reviewing and refining compensation and benefits related policies and procedures, including the design, adjustment, and continuous optimisation of the salary structure to balance external market competitiveness with internal equity;
  • Enhance the company's incentive mechanism, welfare system, insurance policy and safety management measures, as well as bonus and various incentives, commendation management and implementation;
  • Responsible for employees’ compensation and management, including the CPF and income tax submission, government-paid leave claims, as well as the tax clearance for the foreign employees;
  • Responsible for the annual HR budget, monthly and annual statistics of the company's HR budget, and monitor the HR expenses utilisation against the budget ;
  • Prepare and issue salary related personnel certification letters for employees;
  • Responsible for relevant documentation for the Remuneration Committee (RC) and Board of Directors (BOD) in accordance withcorporate governance requirements;
  • Maintain business liaison with external organizations, associations and institutions;
  • Back up other HR functions as required by the Head of HR;
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of HR.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/related field or equivalent;
  • Min. 3 years of experience in compensation & benefits (including payroll processing), experience in public listed companies or the energy sector will be an advantage;
  • Excellent people skills and communication skills, and good knowledge in local labour laws, including Employment Act, Employment of Foreign Manpower Act (EFMA) and other statutory programs;
  • Good ethics and professional conduct, and with strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit;
  • Good organisational, time management skills and stress tolerance with proven ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese languages (as the position needs to frequently communicate with English/Chinese speaking stakeholders verbally/ in writing as well as to prepare and proof-readEnglish/Chinese official documents and presentations whenever appropriate).
