An international HR consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR Director to consolidate HR activities across the APAC region. The role requires strategic guidance on organizational design, talent management, and compensation strategies to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR leadership, with a focus on enhancing employee experience and fostering inclusive leadership. This role offers opportunities to make significant impacts across multiple countries in the APAC region.
This role consolidates all APAC HR activities into a single functional operating model covering workforce strategy, organization design, talent management, employee experience, compenstation and benefits practices, labour relations, and HR compliance. The APAC HR director partners with the Regional President and APAC leadership team, including global HR COES, to translate business objectives into an actionable HR strategy and execute it to deliver sustainable growth across the region.
Provide strategic organizational design guidance to Wholesale and Retail leadership across APAC, ensuring structures and capabilities align with business strategy, scalability and efficiency.
Lead the integration of acquired businesses within APAC, aligning structures, ways of working, and culture while standardizing core HR practices and balancing global frameworks with local needs and regulatory requirements.
Support transformation programs that optimize operating models, roles, processes, and governance across diverse APAC markets.
Create a unified, purpose-driven culture across APAC brands, team structures, and leadership, moving from siloed to collaborative ways of working.
Strengthen frontline engagement in retail channels through targeted HR initiatives that simplify people processes and improve the front-line employee experience.
Foster inclusive leadership and a high-trust culture that respects regional diversity and local market realities.
Own the APAC regional talent strategy in collaboration with Sonova Talent COEs: strategic workforce planning, critical roles, succession puplelines, and future capabilities.
Build leadersip capability at all levels, with particular emphasis on people leadership quality and readiness across multi-country contexts.
Develop local and regional leadership pools to support growth in high potential markets and to enable internal mobility APAC.
Provide strategic guidance on reward architecture, incentive design, pay-for-performance, and key compensation cycles across APAC.
