Job summary

A local organization in Central is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing and employee benefit programs. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, with a strong understanding of payroll and local employment legislation. You will be responsible for salary benchmarking and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This position offers a competitive salary in the vibrant area of Queenstown.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
  • Good knowledge of payroll and C&B.
  • Familiarity with ProSoft HR System.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monthly payroll processing, including variable commissions payments.
  • Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking with available data.
  • Handle statutory tax and CPF matters.
  • Submit IR21 clearance to local tax authority.
  • Prepare reports on payroll data to support compensation decisions.
  • Ensure payroll documentation is completed for audit requirements.
  • Monitor and administer HRIS.
  • Manage all employee insurance matters and benefit programs.

Skills

Knowledge of payroll
HR System familiarity (ProSoft)
Understanding of Employment Act

Basic Salary up to: $4,500!

Location: Queenstown

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm

What you will be doing:
  • Responsible for monthly payroll processing, including variable commissions payments, claims, and other related items.
  • Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking with available data and resources to present to the board.
  • Handle statutory tax and CPF matters.
  • Submit IR21 clearance to local tax authority.
  • Prepare reports on payroll data to support compensation decisions.
  • Ensure payroll documentation is completed to fulfill audit requirements.
  • Monitor and administer HRIS.
  • Manage all employee insurance matters and employee benefit programs.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent field.
  • Good knowledge of payroll and C&B.
  • Familiarity with ProSoft HR System.
  • Good knowledge of the Employment Act and other local legislation.
