Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, proactive and experienced HRBP with at least 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This is a regional role responsible for end-to-end HR functions across APAC. The successful incumbent will provide support to align business objectives with employees and management in the APAC region as well as analyze and implement effective HR programs and people initiatives in the APAC region.
This role will take direction and support the HR leader for APAC and carry out required HR tasks to achieve business objectives. He/She must be comfortable navigating challenges in a dynamic space and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and handle day to day HR operations
- Perform routine tasks require to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation and benefits; leave administration; disciplinary matters; disputes and/or investigations; performance and talent management; recognition; learning and development
- Recruit, interview and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborate with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
- Manage new hire onboarding process for APAC, including new hire documentation, work permits,
- payroll setup, internal co-ordination (IT, Finance etc.) and conduct or acquire background checks
- and employee eligibility verifications
- Responsible for the implementation of any new hire orientation and exit interviews, as needed
- Initiate and implement people initiatives i.e. employee engagement and development, leadership development, well-being and retention
- Support Managers and APAC LT to improve working relationships, build morale and increase productivity
- Support Performance Management reviews and conversations
- Ensure health and welfare benefits enrolment and work with vendors to resolve employee issues & requests
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applications, employees and managers
- Maintaining data integrity within the HRIS including (UKG) system, Leave system, Global payroll
- system and to ensure ongoing data accuracy and effectiveness. Participates in audits and coordinates reporting as needed
- Maintain well-organized personnel filing system, ensuring compliance
- Partner with Payroll and Finance team to ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll run
- Maintain compliance with all country and local HR and law policies. Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, by country and jurisdiction
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human
- resources, talent management and employment law
- Other duties as assigned e.g. HR Projects, Radiation Monitoring
What we look for
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, or related field with at least 5 years’ experience in the full spectrum of human resource management and business partnering in an international environment
- Comfortable in managing between strategic HR tasks and operational execution and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build and manage key stakeholder relationships across the organization
- Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Initiative, adaptable, strong drive and results oriented individual
- Must be able to demonstrate tact, discretion and sound business judgement and to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Proficient in MS Office, Visio and digital savvy. Familiarity with UKG HRIS preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English language
- Comfortable working in different time zones across APAC, US, Europe, whenever needed
- Minimal travel, as needed
