Job description
Overview

Frazer Jones is delighted to be retained by a prestigious global financial services group, known for its stability, innovation, and people-first culture, to appoint a Regional HR Business Partner, HR Projects & Governance Lead. This is a newly created and strategically important individual contributor role based in Singapore, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of the regional HR function in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Reporting directly to the Regional Head of HR, this role will serve as a key partner to the business and HR leadership team, driving the execution of regional HR initiatives while ensuring governance, compliance, and operational excellence across the Asia region. You will play a dual role, acting as a trusted HR Business Partner to selected corporate functions, while also leading cross-border HR projects and governance frameworks that support the region’s strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

As the HRBP for corporate functions, you will work closely with senior leaders to provide strategic HR counsel on workforce planning, talent development, organisational design, and employee engagement. You will be expected to build strong, consultative relationships with stakeholders and deliver high-quality, business-aligned HR solutions that support performance and growth.

In parallel, you will lead and coordinate regional HR projects, including policy harmonisation, process improvement, HR systems implementation, and regulatory compliance initiatives. You will also oversee HR governance activities, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulatory requirements, and act as a key liaison between the regional HR team and global centres of excellence.

This is a highly visible and hands-on role that requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and stakeholder management. You will be part of a collaborative and high-performing HR team that values integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience in HR business partnering and project management within a global insurance or financial services environment. You will have a strong understanding of HR governance, policy, and compliance frameworks, as well as experience working in regional or group headquarters roles. Prior exposure to Broking, Insurance, investment banking or buy-side environments is preferred, given the complexity and pace of the business. Exceptional communication, influencing, and organisational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage complexity and drive outcomes across multiple markets.

Why Apply

This is a unique opportunity to shape and influence the HR agenda across Asia for a globally respected insurance leader. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals in a culture that values collaboration, accountability, and long-term growth, while playing a key role in strengthening HR governance and delivering impactful people solutions.
