Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced HR professional with over 10 years of HR experience, primarily in the construction or industrial sectors. The role involves developing recruitment strategies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labour laws. A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required. Strong communication and leadership skills, along with proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office, are essential. This position is based in Potong Pasir / MacPherson.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle: job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other talent sources.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Promote employee engagement initiatives and monitor workplace satisfaction.
  • Advise management on HR policies, procedures and best practices.
3. Performance Management & Development
  • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
  • Support career growth and succession planning initiatives.
4. Compensation & Benefits Administration
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and compensation programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend adjustments as needed.
5. HR Compliance & Policy Management
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
  • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
6. Strategic HR Planning
  • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Lead HR projects, such as culture initiatives, organizational restructuring, and change management.
Role Requirements:
