Job summary

A leading fresh produce management firm located in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to lead operations for seafood, fruits, and vegetables. The role involves managing counter performance, conducting trainings for staff, and contributing to projects such as AI and digitalisation. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Report to Category Head
  • Lead (wastage) shrink management effort
  • Contribute to special projects (e.g. AI & digitalisation)
  • Conduct trainings – Service, appealing meat display for counter staff (raw materials / fresh meat, raw) at supermarket stores island-wide
  • Contribute to SOP/process/training development with subject-matter expertise
  • Run shadow counter P&L and manage counter performance
  • Support stores to improve counter performance
  • Communicate customer/frontline feedback to Products
  • Verify product quality, SOP adherence, and equipment quality in stores
  • Prepare checklist for compliance checks (quality, SOP, process etc)
  • Lead and organize Fresh Produce setup for store openings/renovations
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor / Diploma in Business, Food Science Food Technology, or related field
  • 10+ years of operations, supply chain, supplier management experience in a fresh produce (Seafood & Fish, Fruits & Vegetable)
  • Quality control or food safety role, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment
  • Ability to train and influence cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data‑driven mindset
  • Able to multitask and work well in a fast‑paced environment
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable mindset.
  • Good communication skills as required to conduct presentation
