Asia Operations provides operational capabilities to Azqores client banks, allowing them to focus on executing their strategy, while reducing operational cost and improving operational risk. Commitment to quality and continuous process improvement is at the heart of all Asia Operations activities. It is thus one of the key functions to facilitate and drive Azqore to reach its ambitious growth target, by putting the clients at the center of its activity, being attentive to their needs, bringing them value and increasing their satisfaction.

Within Asia Operations, theSecurities team is responsible for processing and managing the risk relating to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate actions, asset creation and maintenance.

The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

  • The processing and controls of the processes within the Securities function;
  • Ensuring efficiency and productivity in delivering quality services to Azqores clients;
  • Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner;
  • Play an instrumental role in facilitating the business growth of Azqore and its clients, through ensuring the processing of clients banking transactions, with high quality output and excellence management of risk.
  • Responsible for the management of the Corporate Actions processing within the Asia Securities Operations team. Understanding of the core system and process workflows are essential;
  • Ensure operational efficiency and excellence and maintain low levels of operational risk;
  • Align the Asia Securities Operations team members to the Operations and Company goals and vision;
  • Point of contact for Asian clients and relevant stakeholders on all Corporate Actions queries, concerns and issues;
  • There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant markets and demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) he/she is managing;
  • Act as deputy Head of Asia Securities Operations;
  • Lead Operations projects and initiatives, including the migration of remaining Corporate Actions processes into Asia;
  • Drive cross border collaboration and strengthen communication channels between the Swiss and Singapore teams;
  • Enhance client service standards within the team, and consequently positive impact the client ratings for Operations.

Education and Experience

Bachelor degree, and / or professional qualification in Banking / Finance

6 - 10 ans

At least 10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Actions processes, with the recent 5 years in people management.

Your core competencies

  • Familiar with financial products as well as the market infrastructures, regulations and operational risks;
  • Knowledgeable about SWIFT messages types and front-to-back;
  • Proven track record in Client Service & Stakeholder Management Skills;
