Job summary

A prominent environmental solutions group in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead efforts in the hazardous and toxic waste management sector. The role involves developing strategies, managing client relationships, and executing business development activities. Working Hours

5.5 days per week

Salary Range

SGD 7,000 per month + Annual Commissions +VB + Transport Allowances $500

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand market share in hazardous/toxic waste management.
  • Build and manage long-term client relationships across industrial, marine, and commercial sectors.
  • Lead end-to-end business development activities, including proposals, tenders, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and technical teams to deliver compliant, client-focused solutions.
  • Stay ahead of environmental regulations (NEA, IMO, Basel Convention) and ensure offerings are aligned.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and high-level client engagements.
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts, sales reports, and pipeline updates to management.
  • Gather and share market intelligence and competitor insights.
Requirements
  • Min Diploma in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record in sales/business development, with background in waste management.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental compliance and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • MUST possess own vehicle
