Job summary

A leading technology consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Hardware/IDC Engineer. The role involves overseeing the installation and maintenance of GPU servers and ensuring the integrity of the data center's infrastructure. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field and have over three years of experience, preferably with NVIDIA GPU servers. Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with liquid-cooling systems are essential. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Job description
Hardware/IDC Engineer
Key responsibilities include:
  • Hardware Integration and Delivery: Be responsible for the racking, installation, and physical connection of GPU servers, liquid‑cooled cabinets, and network equipment. Strictly enforce hardware installation standards and carry out standardized operations.
  • Hardware Fault Handling: Oversee the fault diagnosis, spare‑part replacement, and repair of server hardware (motherboard, CPU, GPU, memory, hard disk, power supply). Be capable of monitoring the health status of hardware and promptly discovering potential risks and problems of hardware.
  • Liquid‑Cooling System Maintenance: Take charge of the inspection and fault handling of the liquid‑cooling system. Be able to handle emergencies such as liquid leakage and blockage in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring of Computer Room Infrastructure: Monitor the infrastructure of the computer room to ensure the safe operation of the cluster.
  • Hardware Asset Management: Manage hardware assets, including warehousing, outbound, and labeling.
  • Hardware Fault Analysis and Reporting: Analyze hardware faults and output corresponding analysis reports.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • 3+ years in data center hardware maintenance. Experience in maintaining NVIDIA A100/H100/B300 GPU servers or high‑performance computing (HPC) clusters is preferred.
  • Holding an NVIDIA Certified Engineer (NCE) hardware‑related certification is preferred.
  • Familiar with liquid‑cooling technology. Hands‑on experience in the installation, disassembly, leak detection, and liquid replenishment of liquid‑cooled servers is preferred.
  • Possess strong hands‑on ability and logical analysis ability and be able to independently locate and replace hardware faults.
  • Participated in the construction and delivery projects of large‑scale artificial intelligence computing centers (AICC) or supercomputing centers.
