Job summary

A prominent hotel in Singapore is seeking an experienced Front Office Supervisor to manage daily activities, ensure guest satisfaction, and train reception staff. The ideal candidate has knowledge of Opera Cloud, works well independently, and can handle rotating shifts. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with Opera Cloud is an added advantage.

  • Able to work rotating shifts & public holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, monitor and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Front Office.
  • Ensure guests are attended to promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
  • Assist in checking in / out of guests.
  • Inspect rooms assigned to VIPs before their arrival.
  • Monitor room inventory to maximize revenue.
  • Train all reception staff including planning and conducting On-Job-Training.

  • To direct, monitor and supervise the day-to-day activities of all sections within the Front Office and other services rendered by other operational departments of the Hotel.
  • To ensure guests are attended to with promptness, courtesy and efficiencyand that guest complaints are handled with tact and diplomacy. To assist in checking in / out of guests.
  • To assist to inspect rooms assigned to VIPs before their arrival and ensure that the complimentary amenities are provided in the VIP’s room.
  • To monitor room inventory closely to maximize revenue and occupancy from group allotments.
  • To be responsible for training of all reception staff including planning, organizing and conducting On-Job-Training

Requirements
