Growth Opportunities Senior Analyst

L'Oréal is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Growth Opportunities Analyst to join our Travel Retail Asia-Pacific Consumer & Market Intelligence team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in identifying and sizing the next wave of growth for L'Oréal within our market, focusing on opportunities within a 1 to 5 years horizon. This employee will be a key contributor to our business with close collaboration with most functions within the entity (Market Intelligence, Marketing & Brands, Corporate Marketing, Commercial, Finance, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Co‑Build and update 5‑year plan vision market/sell‑out with detail by market/channel/category
    • Build with Regional General Managers 5‑years market vision
    • Align with Brand General Managers most realistically ambitious long‑term Sell‑Out/market shares
  • Opportunity Sizing (business and financial impact) & Business Case building to support our goal to Transform the Travel Retail Industry
    • Facilitate workshops and ideations sessions with focus to boost conversion
    • Define growth opportunities and drive taskforces to test and learn
    • Include Financial impact (Gross Margin / Profit / ROI) in every project
  • Reporting & Communication (vision and key insights will be shared for every key meeting – e.g. L'Oreal CEO visit in 2026)
Ideal Profile
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or a related analytical field
  • Experience: 5‑9 years of experience in market research, business intelligence, strategic planning, or consulting, ideally within the FMCG or Beauty industry
  • Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data from various sources into clear, actionable insights
  • Market Curiosity: A genuine passion for understanding market trends, consumer behavior, and identifying future growth drivers
  • Proactive & Strategic: Demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate market shifts, and translate insights into tangible business opportunities
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences
  • Collaboration: A team player who thrives in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential; familiarity with data visualization tools, or BI platforms is a plus
  • Language: Fluency in English is required. Chinese is a plus
