Group Finance Director (Renewable Energy Platform)

An emerging renewable energy platform is looking for a Group Finance Director to play a pivotal role across regional performance management, financial governance, and investment support.

This is a high impact, entrepreneurial role partnering closely with regional leadership and investment stakeholders, with exposure across acquisitions, portfolio performance, and capital allocation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead regional financial oversight, including monthly close, management reporting, and consolidation across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Act as a key finance partner on investment evaluation, M&A, and post-acquisition integration, supporting financial modelling, due diligence, and transaction analysis
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning, providing commercially focused insights to support growth and capital deployment decisions
  • Partner with senior leadership on portfolio performance tracking, asset-level returns, and value creation initiatives
  • Strengthen governance, internal controls, and financial policies to support a growing regional platform and external stakeholder requirements
  • Oversee statutory reporting, audits, and compliance across the region, working closely with external advisors
  • Lead system enhancements, reporting automation, and process improvements to support scalability and data quality
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Approximately 8-12 years of experience spanning regional controllership, FP&A, and investment or transaction related work
  • Track record in the SEA region is a must
  • Exposure to M&A, project investments, infrastructure assets, or renewable energy platform growth environments strongly preferred
  • Experience operating in multi-entity, cross-border structures within private or sponsor-backed environments
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and translate financial analysis into strategic decisions
