GRIT Trainee – Credit Card & Personal Loan

Standard Chartered Bank (Singapore) Limited – D01 Cecil, Marina, People’s Park, Raffles Place, SG.

Trainees will join the Credit Card & Personal Loan (CCPL) team for up to six months and may be exposed to various SG CCPL businesses.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • This role will work with our Card Engagement Product Manager in driving life cycle management of our credit card portfolio from activation, active rate, early retention and attrition.
  • The candidate will get exposure on new card value proposition development, portfolio campaign analytics/insights and data‑driven campaign development and execution with leading MarTech tools and digital platforms.
  • Grow profitable balances via instalment programs such as Easypay on transaction/balances and merchant instalment programs.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Manager to develop digital capabilities in our SC mobile app.
  • Develop and implement acquisition strategies and campaigns with stakeholders to promote product awareness and increase adoption rate.
  • Establish KPIs to track growth and adoption rate.
  • Identify, elevate, mitigate and resolve risk collaboratively and handle compliance matters.
  • Assist Portfolio Manager in implementing digital capabilities, including performing UAT and UVT testing logic.
  • Design processes that embed a digital‑first approach with client‑centric design principles to create an exceptional user experience.
  • Analyse product sales data and market trends to create accurate forecasts and develop data‑driven strategies.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration between key stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals and seamless execution of campaigns and strategies.
  • Assist in preparing detailed reports on digital initiatives’ performance, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies.
