The Company pro‑actively reviews its products and designs for environmental sustainability and protection. The Company requires technicians/engineers who have basic training in environment engineering and management to support its R&D team in the next generation of product development.

Job Description

• Market research for green technology adaption and adoption for marine navigation equipment and systems
• Knowledge of renewable systems, lifecycle assessments, carbon accounting, and environmental regulations
• Data analysis, research, and developing innovative solutions
• Engagement with team of R&D engineers based in China and translating complex environmental data
• Ensuring adherence to international environmental standards (such as MARPOL, etc.) and data governance

Requirements

• Knowledge in Environmental Engineering Fundamentals and Development
• Analysis of impact on product engineering solutions and advisory to R&D engineers for product development
• Liaising with all stakeholders such as classification societies, customers, R&D engineers, for environmental sustainability solutions to meet budgets and product development timelines
• Ability to present proposals in Chinese is a pre‑requisite due to R&D engineers and customers are mostly located in China
• Ability to travel independently worldwide for project meetings
