Job summary

A global engineering company in Singapore is seeking a Governance and Finance Manager to enhance financial controls and compliance across its regional operations. The role involves leading audit support, developing governance practices, and providing financial insights. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in internal audits, governance, and project management, ideally with ACCA/ACA/CPA qualifications. This position includes coaching operational teams and ensuring best practices in financial governance.

Qualifications

• Diverse exposure to different organisations through consultancy.
• Internal audit background in industry.
• Experience in the development and implementation of Internal Controls.
• Experience in using automation in internal controls.
• International exposure with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the G3 control programme across the Division.
• Support the OpCos throughout the internal audit cycle.
• Ensure appropriate controls are built into the ERP system.
• Develop and implement a structured governance way of working.
• Create harmonised internal controls policies and best practices.
• Function as the 'flag bearer' of governance within Steam Thermal Solutions.
