Job Description

The Google Cloud Full Stack Engineer designs, builds, and operates end to end web applications on GCP, from back end and front end development to integration with Google AI services. This role works closely with the Google Cloud AI Architect to implement secure, scalable, and reliable solutions from initial setup to production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back end services and APIs (for example, Node.js, Python, Java, or Go) deployed on Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, GKE, or App Engine.
• Build modern front end applications (for example, React, Angular, or Vue) that consume APIs and AI services.
• Implement integrations with Google AI services (for example, Gemini / Vertex AI, Document AI, or other ML endpoints) as part of product features.
• Use core GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL / Firestore / BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Logging/Monitoring.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and observability tooling.
• Participate in solution design with the architect, providing implementation details, effort estimates, and risk assessments.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues, improve performance, and enhance security and reliability over time.

Required Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience as a full stack or software engineer.
• Proficiency in at least one modern back end stack (for example, Node.js/Express, Python/FastAPI, Java/Spring Boot, or Go) and one modern front end framework.
• Hands on experience building and deploying applications on GCP (Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, App Engine, or GKE).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT), and integration patterns.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and basic infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar).
• Familiarity with consuming AI/ML services via APIs (LLMs, classification, extraction, search, etc.).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in agile, cross functional teams.
• PreferredExperience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and event driven architectures.
• Experience with data engineering or MLOps on GCP.
• Google Cloud Associate or Professional level certification.
