A leading commodities trading firm in Singapore is seeking a Counsel-Tax expert to provide and coordinate tax advice related to commodities trading, develop tax models, and ensure compliance with tax legislation. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in corporate and international tax law, be currently licensed in a relevant jurisdiction, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with legal teams across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in corporate income tax law and international tax law, experience in trading preferred.
• Law firm or Big Four experience.
• Current license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate tax advice for business models and cross-border activities.
• Identify tax risks and make practical recommendations.
• Collaborate to develop relevant tax policies and procedures.
• Analyze tax laws and assist with audits.
• Monitor tax legislation and communicate with stakeholders.
