Global IT Service Desk & Access Management Analyst 2 Shift/24H – US-Based Company in Malaysia

Location: Johor Bahru (Must be able to reside in Malaysia)
Salary Range: RM 6,000 – 9,000 (Based on experience and capability)(As base in Malaysia Welcome Malaysian)
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Shifts: 2 Shift Rotation — 7:00 AM–4:00 PM / 3:00 PM–12:00 AM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused IT Service Desk & Access Management Analyst to join our operational IT team. This hybrid role combines frontline technical support with access administration responsibilities, ensuring users receive timely assistance while maintaining secure and compliant access to enterprise applications—with a key focus on Oracle systems.

Core Responsibilities
Service Desk Operations
  • Serve as the primary and secondary support contact for incidents and service requests involving hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Log and monitor tickets within the ITSM platform, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-through.

  • Escalate more complex problems to specialized teams and track progress to closure.

  • Provide remote and onsite assistance for user devices, core applications, and system access challenges.

Access & Identity Management
  • Handle user onboarding, role updates, and access deactivation across Oracle and other enterprise applications.

  • Administer roles and permissions within Oracle Fusion and associated functional areas (OTM/GTM, RFSmart, CPQ, OFS, OIC, OCI, Vertex, DAS).

  • Manage license assignment and usage tracking in Fusion to support compliance and cost management.

  • Configure Procurement Agents, Resources, and Field Technicians within Oracle environments.

  • Support implementation and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Risk Management modules.

  • Maintain adherence to Segregation of Duties (SoD) standards and conduct periodic access certifications.

  • Assist with internal and external audits by coordinating evidence and documentation for access controls.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, service desk operations, or ERP access administration (Oracle, SAP, or similar).

  • Understanding of ITIL principles and experience using service ticketing solutions.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications

Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, or Oracle Certified Associate.

Hands‑on exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP modules (Fusion, OTM/GTM, RFSmart, CPQ, OFS, OIC, OCI, Vertex, DAS).

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ITGC, SoD, SOX, ISO 27001).

Experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) tools.

Basic scripting/automation knowledge (PowerShell, Python).

Understanding of SQL, BI Publisher, or Oracle reporting tools. (PowerShell, Python)
