Job description

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the comprehensive management planning, market development, customer maintenance, route expansion, and carrying out shipping agency business in the Shipping & Operations department under guidance of the board of directors and general manager.
2. Responsible for and guiding the Chartering Department in contract negotiations, cargo arrangements on own vessel, assigning of vessel operators, reviewing operational expenses etc.
3. Responsible for coordinating the cargo arrangements and voyage task assignments with Specialized team in China Headquarter.
4. Responsible for communicating with the Shipping & Marketing Management Division in Headquarter, and cooperating with the headquarters in regional market development, marketing promotion, customer maintenance, and collecting marketing information etc.
5. Responsible for communicating with the fleet teams regarding negotiations, execution of shipping agency business agreements within the region, and developing agency business market.
6. Responsible for developing end-to-end projects within the region such as pulp logistics, automobile logistics and regional inland transportation projects.
7. Responsible for managing the company's various country representative offices and guiding representatives in market development, customer maintenance, contract negotiations, vessel chartering etc.
8. Responsible for new employee training, management, and job advancement, managing day to day work for the staffs in Shipping Operations Department etc.
9. Responsible for the relevant reports within the department.
10. Other tasks assigned by management.
