Job Opportunity: Fundraising and Community Partnership Coordinator / Executive

At the Muscular Dystrophy Association (Singapore), our mission is to provide care and support to people impacted by muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular conditions. In addition, we also provide respite care and support to their caregivers and families. We strive to provide holistic and integrated care services so that they can lead meaningful and purposeful lives.

We are looking for a Fundraising Coordinator/Executive to assist in fundraising and volunteering efforts and build strategic partnerships for the Association. This position will report to the Assistant Manager of Fundraising.

The Role

The incumbent personnel will plan and execute fundraising and awareness projects; and to maintain and seek collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and donors, not limited to the following duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, plan and execute fundraising initiatives, campaigns, events and engagements to meet fundraising targets.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to enhance event visibility and fundraising effectiveness as well as encourage active participation.
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with donors (new and existing), including individuals, corporations, foundations and schools to secure sponsorships and collaborations.
  • Manage and execute collaborations with stakeholders to give talks, outreach and engage them.
  • Maintain accurate donors' databases and records, process donations, prepare fundraising reports and proposals, and provide general administrative support.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for events, including budgeting and liaising with vendors, partners, and volunteers.
  • Recruit, onboard and manage volunteers to support programmes, events and administrative needs.
  • Assist in planning, developing and operating social enterprise initiatives aligned with the organization’s mission.
  • Manage any other ad‑hoc projects and duties.
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree with at least three years of relevant experience in fundraising.
  • Good time management, detail‑oriented and able to work independently and proactively in a fast‑paced environment, while being a strong team player.
  • Experience in event planning, grants application and familiar with charity compliance matters preferred.
  • Strong written, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to work on some weekends and after office hours to support organisational events.

Other Information

Location: Bishan
