Job description

We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable, high-performance, and secure web applications. The role requires strong end-to-end development capabilities across frontend, backend, cloud technologies, DevOps automation, and application security. You will work in an agile, DevOps-driven environment, taking full ownership of the application lifecycle while ensuring high software quality, security, and maintainability. Proficiency in low-code platforms such as OutSystems, Mendix, Pega, Appian, or Microsoft Power Apps is an advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of end-to-end application development, integrating frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications.
• Implement modern frontend architectures, ensuring scalability, reusability, and strong security practices.
• Develop backend services and APIs that are performant, reliable, secure, and observable.
• Collaborate with QA engineers to ensure strong automated test coverage and proactively resolve bugs and defects.
• Optimise full-stack CI/CD deployment strategies for seamless and automated releases.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and cloud deployments.
• Ensure full-stack security across authentication, authorization, API security, and frontend best practices.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve application performance and developer productivity.

Requirements

Full-Stack Development

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in both frontend and backend development.
• Experience with Git and modern branching workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based development).

Frontend Technologies

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, or Svelte.
• Mobile development experience using Swift (iOS), Kotlin (Android), or React Native.
• Experience with UI libraries such as Material-UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
• Familiarity with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).

Backend Technologies

• Experience with Node.js, Express.js, or NestJS.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot), Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI), or Golang.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, gRPC, and WebSockets.

Backend Scalability & API Design

• Strong experience in API design and performance optimisation.
• Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Varnish), rate-limiting, and scalability concepts (horizontal scaling, autoscaling, load balancing).

DevOps, Cloud & Infrastructure

• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Cloudflare Workers).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).

Security Best Practices

• Knowledge of frontend security (CSP, CORS, XSS prevention).
• Experience with backend security (OAuth, JWT, encryption, API rate limiting).
• Familiarity with cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and OWASP Top 10.

Software Quality & Testing

• Experience with frontend testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Pact).
• Experience with backend testing tools (Postman, Supertest, contract testing).
