As an Associate in the Fixed Income Structuring team, you will be involved in pricing, documenting, developing, and analyzing structured products with a focus on fixed income products (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodity, Hybrid). You will also have the opportunity to contribute marketing ideas and help initiate transactions. This role offers exposure to other teams, including sales, trading, and banking.

As an Associate in the Fixed Income Structuring team, you will develop, document, model, and price structured products for origination and distribution, focusing on fixed income products. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients, building trust and understanding their needs. This role is crucial in executing trades and managing risks in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, model, and price structured products for origination and distribution, focusing on fixed income products (FX, Rates, Credit, Commodity, Hybrid).
  • Understand drivers of relevant local markets, including credit risk, market risk, capital requirements, legal framework, regulatory requirements, and de-risk channels, and establish competence with internal stakeholders and clients in executing trades.
  • Follow the firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules.
  • Build trust with internal stakeholders and clients by understanding their needs, articulating desk ideas, and being responsive.
  • Prepare presentation materials, financial models, internal risk analysis memos, term sheets, and work with legal to negotiate transaction documents.
  • Assist with the post-trade process by ensuring the accuracy of all entries and adherence to internal controls.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, familiarity with derivative pricing and common structures.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working within an investment bank structuring or relevant desks.
  • Proficiency with market and product lingo; well-versed in the quantitative nature and framework of own product (e.g., documentation, pricing, models).
  • Understanding of different types of risk and ability to discuss ways of managing these risks.
  • Thorough understanding of market drivers and ability to explain and anticipate market movements.
  • Execution-oriented with an understanding of the transaction cycle and process steps.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to defend ideas and target messages to different audiences.
  • Ability to interact comfortably with business clients and management.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
