Job summary

A seafood processing company in Singapore seeks a Production Manager to oversee seafood processing operations from start to finish. The role requires at least 8–10 years of experience in food production, including knowledge of ISO 22000 and HACCP standards. Responsibilities include managing production teams, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Candidates must possess a diploma or degree in Food Science or a related field, and the ability to work in cold, wet environments is essential.

Job Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Plan, coordinate, and supervise seafood processing from receiving to packaging.
  • Perform hands‑on tasks when necessary, including cleaning, filleting, cutting, and packaging fish.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, ISO, GMP, FDA/SFA regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections for hygiene, temperature control, and food safety.
  • Inventory & Documentation: Manage accurate records of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Prepare production reports and maintain documentation for audits and certifications.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise production staff.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, QA, and Operations for stock planning and ISO compliance.
  • Kickstart production line and integrate processes under ISO 22000 certification.
Job Requirements
  1. Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Fisheries, Manufacturing, or related fields.
  2. Minimum 8–10 years in seafood processing or food production; experience in setting up a new plant is an advantage.
  3. Expertise in seafood handling, cold‑chain management, and traceability systems.
  4. Knowledge of ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP standards.
  5. Ability to work in cold, wet environments and perform manual tasks.
