Job Responsibilities
- Restructuring of shareholding/capital structure of operating companies located in Asia.
- Comprehensive management of operating companies located in the Asia region.
- Treasury related responsibilities including cash flow management and cash flow forecast, optimization of surplus funds including intercompany group loans and participation in the group's global cash pool platform.
- Support and facilitate communication between Otsuka Singapore and operating companies in the Asia region regarding ongoing projects, challenges, and deliverables.
- Work with headquarters Finance Department and other departments to create Otsuka Singapore consolidated management reports for presentations to key management at Otsuka Singapore and parent company in Japan.
- Monitor and report project performance, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Support internal audit and accounting review of subsidiaries/affiliates.
Job Requirements
- English and Japanese verbal and writing skills at business level is necessary to carry out function of aligning with Singapore, affiliates, and Japanese counterparts and stakeholders. e.g) Japanese: JLPT N1 (or Fluent in Japanese)
- Technical knowledge of general, international, and industry-specific accounting and effective technical and managerial support for the group.
- Strong communication skill to align headquarters management plans and policies to Otsuka Singapore affiliates management.
- Experience in transfer pricing including setting up intercompany transfer pricing policies, day to day operation regarding intercompany transfer pricing activities.
- Solid understanding of accounting and finance control concepts.
- Experience in long range financial planning and budgeting.
- Ability to collaborate with other teams in the organization.
- Highly motivated productive individual and team player with ability to lead and manage various work streams.
- In depth experience utilizing software tools(Excel, Power BI, Power Qyery, PowerPoint ) to effectively present graphs, reports and dashboards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex situation into workable solutions to present to Management of all levels.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as demonstrated success in making presentations to Management and the ability to persuade to point of view.
- Ability to interface with others across all level of the organization.
