Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager for a 6-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making within the Broadband business. Ideal applicants will have over 8 years' finance experience, preferably in telecom, along with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in SAP/BW is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ finance experience in telecom or broadband industry preferred.
• Strong accounting knowledge and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with accounting IT systems is a plus.

Finance Manager - Broadband Services (6 Months Maternity Cover)

Act as the finance business partner and subject matter expert for the Broadband business. Drive financial performance, profitability, and growth of new equipment business, while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage month‑end closing, financial reporting, and performance analysis.
• Support budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and capex reviews.
• Prepare business cases, profitability analyses, dashboards, and executive reports.
• Analyse variances and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Continuously improve reporting processes and support organisational initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8 years’ finance experience, preferably in telecom, broadband, or related industries.
• Strong accounting knowledge and advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with accounting IT systems; SAP/BW and financial modelling are a plus.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
