THE ROLE

Reporting to the Asia Business Controller, the incumbent will be responsible primarily for the revenue recognition, accurate reporting of revenue in accordance to corporate financial policy, forecasting, budgeting in Asia Pacific primarily in our Pacific (Australia, New Zealand) region, supporting Regional Sales Directors and Regional Financial Controller in above areas.

OPPORTUNITIES

• You will be working together with APAC Rev Rec Manager, be the advisor to Sales & Marketing team on revenue recognition matters.
• You will prepare accounting memos and complex deals’ Bookable Value (BV) computations in accordance with IFRS 15 and Group financial policies.
• You will support the Sales and Marketing on bid related (finance) advice.
• You will manage the preparation of monthly sales review report, Revenue and Cost, budgeting and reporting for License, SaaS, S&M and Headcount reporting.
• You will In depth understanding and management of the Sales & Marketing P&L.
• You will communicate and convey results clearing, providing recommendations to meet financial targets.
• You will be managing the external and internal audit of for License and S&M related P&L and process controls.
• You will be managing an offshore team based in the Shared Service Centre ("SSC") in India.
• You will review and manage any risk and exposure in the Net Working Capital.
• You will support Regional Financial Controller in annual budget process.
• You will be the key contact person of the region to liaise with Corporate on finance and budget reporting templates and submission matters.
• You will ensure compliance with all internal controls and group accounting policies.
• You will be manage (discuss and agree with various parties), communicate and ensure the monthly close and forecast are adhered to.
• You will manage audit queries and matters.

SKILLS

• You should have a Bachelor of Accountancy from local University or qualified CPA.
• You should have good knowledge in IFRS, especially deep knowledge of IFRS 15 in software industry will be preferred.
• You should have good understanding and practical experience in Annual Recurring Revenue and SaaS.
• You should have hands on experience in Artificial Intelligence.
• You should have experience in Oracle and Hyperion.
• You should have strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, ERP) – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• You should be adept and credible in senior management circles and perceived as a valuable business partner.
• You should have the ability to negotiate with the business to achieve desired outcomes.
• You should be able to understand internal controls, systems and process.
• You should have experience at operating in an international environment.
• You should have good understanding of the business and ability to deliver operating plans.
• You should have the ability to guide and mentor teams, act as a mentor to share and transfer expert knowledge.
