Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing for entities in Singapore, Vietnam, and Japan.
  • Maintain accuracy across general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review management reports, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
  • Coordinate annual audits and manage communication with external auditors and tax advisors.
Financial Operations & Reporting
  • Maintain accuracy across general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review management reports, cash flow statements, and variance analyses.
  • Coordinate annual audits and manage communication with external auditors and tax advisors.
Process & Controls
  • Enhance finance processes, including project cost tracking, expense approvals, and budget monitoring.
  • Support ERP or accounting system implementation and drive automation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with local GAAP (SFRS, VN GAAP, J-GAAP) and group reporting under IFRS.
FP&A & Business Partnering
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Track key financial KPIs and deliver actionable insights to management.
  • Prepare financial data for investor updates, fundraising activities, and board presentations.
Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA/CA certification preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally within manufacturing, robotics, or engineering.
  • Proven expertise in multi-entity consolidation and cross-border accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax compliance, and audit processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, Business Central).
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
