Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is looking for a Consolidated Accountant or Finance Manager to handle various finance-related activities, including financial accounting, month-end close, and tax compliance. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience, a degree in accountancy, and proficiency in XERO and Microsoft Excel. You will work closely with management for operational improvements, and be a motivated team player with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Consolidated Accountant / Finance Manager role.
  • Experience in handling Payroll / CPF and other government-related payments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities including accounting, reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Check and post AR/AP Invoices into XERO.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and liaise with Corporate Secretary.

Job Detail
  • Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities that includes Financial Accounting/Reporting, Month-end close, Audit Schedule, Audits and Tax Compliance.
  • Checking and posting of AR/AP Invoices into XERO
  • Customer Invoicing
  • Supplier payment
  • Resolve billing discrepancies (supplier Invoices)
  • Liaising with Corporate Secretary
  • Work closely with management to improve efficiencies, operational effectiveness and reduce costs
  • Statutory Filing and deadline – IRAS / GST / AIG / GPL / CPF
  • Provide day to day assistance and administrative support whenever required
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
Your Profile
  • Minimum ACCA / Degree in Accountancy or related qualification and above
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Consolidated Accountant / Finance Manager role
  • Experience in handling Payroll / CPF / Auto-Inclusion Scheme(AIS) / Government-Paid Leave (GPL) / NSmen Payment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel (MUST)
  • Highly motivated, analytical, hands-on, multi-tasking
  • Independent, analytical and have a positive working attitude
  • A good team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work in a small company setup
