Job summary

A financial services company based in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage a variety of finance-related activities. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an accounting or finance manager role, be proficient in XERO and Microsoft Office, and possess strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include managing financial reporting, auditing, and compliance tasks, along with day-to-day administrative support. Proficiency in English and Chinese Mandarin is a must.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Accountant /Finance Manager role.
  • Experience in handling Payroll / CPF / Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS).
  • Willing to work in a small company setup.

Responsibilities

  • Handle finance-related activities including Financial Accounting/Reporting.
  • Liaising with Corporate Secretary.
  • Provide day to day assistance and administrative support.

Job Detail
  • Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities that includes Financial Accounting/Reporting, Month-end close, Audit Schedule, Audits and Tax Compliance.
  • Checking and posting of AR/AP Invoices into XERO
  • Customer Invoicing
  • Supplier payment
  • Resolve billing discrepancies (supplier Invoices)
  • Liaising with Corporate Secretary
  • Work closely with management to improve efficiencies, operational effectiveness and reduce costs
  • Statutory Filing and deadline – IRAS / GST / AIG / GPL / CPF
  • Provide day to day assistance and administrative support whenever required
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
Your Profile
  • Minimum ACCA / Degree in Accountancy or related qualification and above
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Accountant /Finance Manager role
  • Experience in handling Payroll / CPF / Auto-Inclusion Scheme (AIS) / Government-Paid Leave (GPL) / NSmen Payment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel (MUST)
  • English & Chinese Mandarin Proficiency (MUST)
  • Highly motivated, analytical, hands-on, multi-tasking
  • Independent, analytical and have a positive working attitude
  • A good team player, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work in a small company setup
