Finance, HR & Compliance Associate
Role Overview
The Finance, HR & Compliance Associate supports and manages the firm’s people operations, finance administration, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance activities. The role works closely with senior management, external advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure the firm operates in full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Finance & Accounting Assistance: Prepare payment vouchers, process payments and billings, ensure timely and accurate financial transactions; prepare financial reports and periodic submissions to Headquarters, including MAS/MOM/FSS reporting; handle internal and external audit processes.
- Human Resources Support: Provide hands‑on support for payroll processing, work pass applications, employee onboarding/offboarding, and recruitment; review, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures; serve as key point of contact for employee relations and day‑to‑day HR matters.
- Compliance: Oversee the company’s compliance function and act as primary contact for regulatory matters; manage periodic MAS filings and liaise with MAS officers; review and maintain the compliance framework; coordinate annual compliance audits and remediate findings.
- Tax Compliance Support: Assist with annual corporate tax filings, GST submissions, tax clearance applications, and other statutory tax requirements; liaise with external tax advisors and authorities.
- Corporate Secretarial Support: Maintain statutory records, registers, and minute books; prepare board and shareholder resolutions and other corporate documentation.
- Office Administration: Oversee office welfare, facilities, and administrative services; perform general administrative duties and coordinate day‑to‑day office operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant field.
- 1–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean preferred for HQ liaison.
- Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
