About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven Finance Executive to support our finance operations in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate should have solid accounting fundamentals, be comfortable working independently, and be proficient in Excel and Xero.

Job Description

• Assist with full-set of accounts including AR, AP, bank reconciliation, claims, payroll, accruals, etc.
• Assist with month-end, year-end closing and preparation of management accounts.
• Assist with preparation and monitoring of department budget together with stakeholders.
• Ensure that finance schedules & reports are accurately updated in a timely manner.
• Liaise with auditors, corp sec, tax agents for audit and compliance matters.
• Lead and participate in process improvement and SOP creation projects.
• Any other ad-hoc finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Highly proficient in advanced Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s etc.)
• Tech savvy, willing to learn and use a variety of apps/software (e.g. Xero, Slack, Clickup, etc)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong sense of ownership over assigned duties.
