Job summary

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel. Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus. Qualifications

• Prepare and review journal entries and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing and financial reporting to Management and Japan HQ.
• Prepare and review journal entries, financial analysis, consolidation, and financial reporting packages for subsidiary companies.
• Maintain accounting records, schedules, prepayments, accruals, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare royalty/sales reports for licensors and ensure reports are up to date with the latest changes in tax and charges.
• Review accounting treatment for new products and procedures.
• Compute S45 withholding tax and monthly exchange rates.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, IRAS, and external parties.
• Support continuous improvement of internal controls and workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Well-versed in MS Office, especially in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite system would be advantageous.
