Overview

Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial and investment banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, foreign exchange and advisory services such as mergers & acquisitions and equity and debt capital markets. Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of relationship managers or cover a portfolio of Private Equity / Financial Sponsor clients, and be expected to collaborate closely with the Bank’s product, country, sector, and credit teams to contribute to the origination, structuring, and execution of Target-level transactions with Financial Sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the Bank’s Financial Institutions Group to help deliver Fund-level products and services.
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing presentations, client/transaction pitches, and research, reporting and data mining materials.
  • Actively grow and strengthen relationships with Financial Sponsors to expand the client base through business development efforts.
  • Identify attractive business opportunities by understanding clients’ needs and the Bank’s product offerings and capabilities.
  • Own client relationships, respond promptly to operational requirements, and communicate clearly with the team to improve the employee journey.
  • Assess adequacy of team and internal processes/tools to manage portfolios and achieve client objectives.
  • Contribute to delivering agreed revenue and return targets for the assigned portfolio.
  • Help identify and minimize credit and operational risks within the portfolio.
  • Coordinate different workstreams among various teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of solutions.
  • Demonstrate the bank’s brand and PRIDE! values, learn best practices, and assist in cross-border collaboration as required.
Qualifications
  • Recognised Degree in Economics/Business/Finance/Engineering or a relevant discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in Financial Sponsors Coverage, Leveraged or M&A Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions advisory, Equity or Debt Capital Markets, client origination / relationship management, or Buy-side private equity with strong credit knowledge.
  • Sales-driven mentality with strong business development and commercial acumen.
  • Strong risk and control mindset with a growth mindset for continuous personal and business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage a diverse team and coach for improved performance.
  • Positive attitude to motivate team members toward goals; comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong, resourceful individual contributor with initiative and the ability to collaborate with product, sector, country and credit teams.
