Finance and Tax Product Manager

We are hiring – 10+ years of experience in project management with a strong focus on finance and tax-related projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage medium-to-large complex project delivery, working through multiple third-party delivery teams.
• Deliver digital or custom solutions, integrating with packages and/or SaaS enterprise solutions.
• Implement, deliver, and maintain Finance and Tax systems & related projects.
• Facilitate the users’ product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing digital products.
• Manage BAU aspects of systems, including monitoring and maintaining the operational health of core systems.
• Ensure teams adhere to system availability, reliability, and performance to meet defined SLAs.
• Work with and manage related vendor partners to deliver desired outcomes.
• Identify improvement opportunities and align business requirements with current architecture.
• Act as a crucial bridge between business and technology delivery teams, driving project delivery and day-to-day operations.
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Engage with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive solutions and resolve issues.
• Conduct user research and translate insights into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience managing medium-to-large complex project delivery through multiple third-party delivery teams.
• Experience delivering digital or custom solutions, integrating with packages and/or SaaS enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Workday Finance.
• Preferred to have experience managing multi-vendor environments and handling BAU operations.
• Passionate about resolving user pain points through great design.
• In-depth knowledge of financial systems.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong skills in user-centered design and Agile Delivery Methodologies.
• Ability to adapt to various roles and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to project manage and work with cross-functional teams, different stakeholders.
• Experience delivering and having in-depth knowledge of financial systems.
