Role Overview

This role supports the smooth financial, administrative, and operational running of the Singapore office.

The Finance & Administration Executive will be responsible for day-to-day finance operations, statutory compliance, and office administration, working closely with external advisors and Group Finance. The role operates in a lean environment and requires a hands‑on professional who is comfortable working autonomously, values accuracy and structure, and takes ownership of end-to-end processes.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting Operations
  • Support full-set accounting activities for the Singapore entity, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting schedules for review by Group Finance.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including audit preparation and coordination with external auditors.
  • Process invoicing, payments, and financial documentation in line with business activities.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of supporting documentation.
Compliance, Tax & Governance
  • Support statutory and regulatory compliance in Singapore, including:
    • GST filings and reconciliations
    • Corporate tax computations and submissions
    • ACRA filings and statutory documentation
  • Liaise with corporate secretaries, tax agents, auditors, and regulators to ensure all deadlines and requirements are met.
  • Maintain compliance calendars, checklists, and internal control documentation.
Budgeting & Expense Management
  • Track operating expenses against approved budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare cost reports and highlight variances for management review.
  • Support annual budget preparation and periodic reforecasting exercises.
Office Administration & Operations
  • Manage day-to-day office administration, including vendors, utilities, insurance, banking administration, and office supplies.
  • Coordinate with external service providers such as banks, auditors, corporate secretaries, payroll providers, and insurers.
  • Support basic HR administration, including onboarding and offboarding logistics, payroll coordination, and employee documentation.
  • Ensure smooth, efficient office operations for the Singapore team.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3–6 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in an SME or regional office environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with full-set accounts and Singapore statutory requirements (GST, corporate tax, ACRA).
  • Strong attention to detail, well‑organised, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems; experience working with external advisors is essential.
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
