Job description

Responsibilities:

• Lead budgeting process and performance analysis, including P&L by business unit and variance checks.
• Prepare clear management reports for senior leaders and Japan HQ, based on accurate financial data.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve reporting quality and efficiency using digital tools.
• Manage tax compliance, including Singapore incentive schemes, transfer pricing, and BEPS 2.0 updates.
• Support other finance tasks such as insurance matters and ad hoc duties from finance leadership

Requirements:

• Finance Experience: 3+ years in finance or accounting, with solid skills in management accounting and budgeting; energy sector experience is a plus.
• Core Skills: Strong in budgeting, variance analysis, reporting, and analytical thinking; clear and logical communication.
• Tech & Traits: Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivots, charts), proficient in Word and PowerPoint; motivated, responsible, and team-oriented.
• Business level of English proficiency (Necessary for internal/external communication)
• Daily conversation level of Japanese language proficiency (Necessary for internal/external communication)
