A financial services company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Analyst to analyze financial and operational performance, lead budgeting processes, and support cross-functional decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, professional qualifications are a plus, and 3-7 years of experience. Analyse financial and operational performance, including margins and market trends, to identify improvement opportunities.
Lead or support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles, tracking performance trends to guide business decisions.
Provide actionable insights for cross functional stakeholders, supporting business needs and planning decisions.
Monitor operating costs, cash flow, and balance sheet items, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and financial control.
Manage tax submissions and support internal and external audits.
Maintain, develop, and enhance analytics and reporting tools to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
Partner with cross functional stakeholders to optimise order management, order plannings, and system processes.
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements across functions and finance to drive efficiency, automation, and effectiveness.
Support ad-hoc projects and strategic initiatives aligned with evolving business needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, providing insights, guidance, and financial expertise to support key business decisions.
Undertake additional finance or business-related duties as required, in line with evolving business need
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CFA) are highly desirable.
Minimum 3–7 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis, within fast-paced environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools using systems tools.
Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Experience in cash flow management, balance sheet monitoring, and compliance.
Excellent business partnering and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to take ownership of ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
