Responsibilities:
- Investigate and handle all customer complaints and product failures.
- Provide after-sales technical support and on-site service to distributors and end customers.
- Review and assist in processing warranty claims from distributors.
- Standby support and 24/7 emergency call for customer support.
- Provide installation, commissioning, and on-site training according to the project scope.
- Troubleshoot and service a wide range of diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) to ensure operational reliability.
- Maintain and organize technical and training documentation.
- Provide specific training to distributors and dealers on service and troubleshooting skills to ensure optimum service levels.
- Maintain close working relationships with key customers to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
- Provide technical assistance on factory testing of special projects.
- Investigate root causes of failures and recommend solutions.
- Handle warranty issues from a technical perspective.
- Perform any other service, training, or ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of relevant experience in field service or technical support.
- Prior mechanical experience with diesel engines (e.g., MHI, MTU, John Deere, Volvo).
- Willingness to travel across the Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia region.
